Adding social media & content to the mix is a tall order.
That’s why I’m hyped to share with you this week’s biggest AI hack:
How to create “viral” caliber content for your brand in minutes instead of hours.
How?
3 simple steps:
Find a high-quality piece of content from YouTube
Use AI to transcribe the video
Transform into any form of content (Blog, Newsletter, Twitter Thread, etc) in your personal tone of voice
1. Finding a High-Quality Piece of content on YouTube
The goal here is NOT to create a false facade of ‘expertise’ to trick people into working with you.
Rather, the goal is to save hours on content creation by taking content that clearly already has tremendous value, and repurposing it with your own personal style to appeal to your unique audience.
Let’s pretend I’m in finance and want to grow my personal brand. A good example would be Ramit Sethi’s channel, “I Will Teach You to be Rich”.
After browsing his channel for a few minutes, I found a great video to repurpose “My Top 5 Lessons from One Year of Interviewing Couples About Money”
2. Transcribe the Content with AI
Super easy step. You need to access an AI transcription tool. As you can see below, I’ve got 2 different plugins installed in Chrome. Personally, I prefer Glarity (no affiliation). Kome.ai is also another option, but requires a paid plan for more than 5 uses per month.
Assuming you’ve added Glarity, all you need to do is click the ‘copy transcript button’:
Now open a fresh Google Doc, paste the transcript, and download as a PDF.
Boom easy. Now for the fun part.
3. Transform into a personalized piece of epic content
Rather than ChatGPT, we’ll use Anthropic’s Claude to process our request. Why? Claude allows you to upload documents to reference.
Head over to claude.ai and create a free account:
In the message box, upload the transcript, and use your variation of the following prompt:
“I have a personal brand focused on helping (insert avatar) with (your mission). Write me a (insert the style - satirical, educational, sophisticated, casual, etc) (insert the content format - Twitter thread, blog post, commentary, newsletter) that emphasizes the key points made in the attached Youtube transcript video, while also (highlight any underlying points you also want to make in the post/content). Do not be cheesy in your output.” Submit prompt:
BONUS: (Most importantly) Make Edits & Revise
Below is the initial output.
Is it ready to send? Absolutely not, but it certainly saved me hours to get to draft #1.
From here, the ‘gold’ is in asking the AI to refine the content for you (second image below).
Laziness doesn’t win in the long run.
It’s critical to use the bulk of your time in this revision step. Make sure your content sounds like you, and stitch together the various outputs in a way that adds significant value for your audience.
Final thoughts: Prompting
The prompting of Claude may not be spot on right away. However, as you refine your process, refine your prompting. Over time, you’ll develop prompts that crush to create the exact style you’re looking for.
